Testimonials

"My daughter has been at Bamboo Grove since she was 4 months old. She has thrived in an incredibly nurturing environment where the staff takes a personal interest in every child. The children not only learn the "academics," but they learn to be an effective part of a larger community where they share, take responsibility, are respectful, and communicate in a variety of ways. They are encouraged to be themselves, and are loved and celebrated for their differences. With 4 1/2 years of learning at Bamboo Grove, my daughter is now ready to enter kindergarten with a rich foundation of life skills. We couldn't have asked for a better place to entrust our child during these early formative years."

“My child loves going to school! He really likes planting and tending the garden, doing drama, dancing with scarves, playing instruments, painting with bright colors, working with numbers, and learning how to read. We are thrilled with his experience at Bamboo Grove, as he has grown leaps and bounds socially and academically. This school is a hidden treasure.”

"Bamboo Grove is a wonderful Montessori preschool. My older daughter who started there as an infant will be entering kindergarten at Redwood Day School this fall and has truly thrived at the school with Agnes, who has provided our daughter an excellent foundation for learning and growth. This year, we also enrolled our younger child. As a parent, it comes down to the peace of mind in knowing that your child is in excellent and loving hands with Agnes and her staff.

Our son has been going here since he was 6 months old and he loves it. We love it because of the extent and speed with which he has learned. He seems to be quite advanced for his age and he didn't get it from us. He even puts things back after using them. One visit and it will be apparent why this place is special; from the aquarium, multitudes of books and learning related toys, to the genuine and professional care. Every day there is a variety of interactive learning events. Musicians even visit from time to time to play to the children, there is a dance time, holiday parties, etc.
